The differences between method overloading and method overriding are as follows:
- Method Overloading:If two methods have the same method name but different parameters, then one method can be said to be an overload of the other method.
- Method Overriding:If a method is defined in a subclass whose name, return type, and parameter signature exactly match those of a method in the parent class, then the subclass method is said to override the parent class method.
The following example demonstrates the implementation of Java method overriding:
