The Linux uupick command processes incoming files.

Examples

Receive files from a specified remote system

Save received files to a specified directory

If you want to save the received files to a specific directory, such as/home/user/received_files, you can use the-doption:

uupick -s remote_system -d /home/user/received_files

Display detailed processing information

If you want to viewuupickthe detailed processing information of the command, you can use the-voption:

uupick -s remote_system -v

Notes

When using theuupickcommand, ensure that the UUCP service is properly configured and running.
The directory for receiving files should have appropriate permissions so thatuupickcan successfully save files.
If the remote system has no files pending reception,uupickthe command will not perform any operation.
