The Linux kbdconfig command is used to set the keyboard type.

kbdconfig (a command only available in Red Hat Linux) is a program used to set the keyboard, providing a graphical operation interface. kbdconfig actually modifies the keyboard configuration file /etc/sysconfig/keyboard.

Syntax

kbdconfig [--back][--test]

Parameters：

  • --back Changes the default Cancel button to a Back button during execution.
  • --test Only for testing; does not actually change settings.
