Definition and Usage

The TableSection property is used to set or return the position of the TableRow object in the Table control.

Use the TableSection property to get or set the position where the TableRow object is placed in the Table control.

Syntax

<asp:TableRow TableSection="section" runat="server">

</asp:TableRow>
 
Property Description
section Specifies the table section to which the row belongs.

Possible values:

  • TableHeader - Header row
  • TableBody - Default. The body of the table
  • TableFooter - Footer row

Example

The following example sets the TableSection property of the TableRow control:

<asp:table id="Table1" runat="server" GridLines="Both">

<asp:TableRow TableSection="TableHeader">
<asp:TableCell>Header</asp:TableCell>
</asp:TableRow>
