Definition and Usage

The DayNameFormat property is used to set the format of the names of the days of the week in the calendar.

Syntax

<asp:Calendar DayNameFormat="format" runat="server" />

Properties Description
format Specifies the display format of the day names.

Possible values:

  • FirstLetter
  • FirstTwoLetters
  • Full
  • Short

Example

The following example shows a calendar with the full day name format:
