PostgreSQL SELECT Statement
PostgreSQL SELECT statement is used to select data from a database.
The result is stored in a result table, called a result set.
Syntax
The syntax format of the SELECT statement is as follows:
SELECT column1, column2,...columnN FROM table_name;
column1, column2,...columnN are the field names in the table.
table_name is the name of the table.
If we want to read all the data in the table, we can use the following SQL statement:
SELECT * FROM table_name;
In the previous chapterINSERT INTO statementwe have already inserted some data into the table company, using** can read all the data in that table:
