The Linux SVGATextMode command is used to enhance the text mode display.

SVGATextMode can be used to set the text mode display, including resolution, font, and refresh rate, etc.

Syntax

SVGATextMode [-acdfhmnrsv][-t <配置文件>][模式]

Parameters：

  • -a If the screen size of the new display mode differs from the original, SVGATextMode will perform the necessary system settings.
  • -c Maintain the original VGA clock.
  • -d Display detailed information during execution for troubleshooting reference.
  • -f Do not execute the font loading instructions in the configuration file.
  • -h Display help.
  • -m Allow resetting the screen size in 1x1 mode.
  • -n Only test the specified mode.
  • -r Notify or reset programs related to the screen size.
  • -s Display all available modes in the configuration file.
  • -t<config file> Specify the configuration file.
  • -v When SVGATextMode configures a new display mode, it will by default first check whether the vertical and horizontal refresh rates are within the range specified in the configuration file; if not, the new display mode will not be set.
  • Mode] The [mode] parameter must be the name of a mode in the configuration file.
