The Linux rdate command is used to display the date and time of other hosts.

Execute the rdate command to query another host for its system time and display it.

Syntax

rdate [-ps][主机名称或IP地址...]

Parameters：

  • -p Display the date and time of the remote host.
  • -s Save the date and time received from the remote host back to the local host's system time.
  • -u Use UDP as the transmission protocol
  • -l Use syslog to display error messages
  • -t<time> Set the timeout time
