Linux mzip Command
The Linux mzip command is a control instruction for Zip/Jaz disk drives.
mzip is an mtools utility command that can set the protection mode of Zip or Jaz disk drive areas and perform the action of ejecting the disk.
Syntax
mzip [-efpqruwx]
Parameters:
- -e Eject the disk.
- -f Used together with the -e parameter, forcibly ejects the disk regardless of whether a file system on the disk is already mounted.
- -p Set the write password for the disk.
- -q Display the current status.
- -r Set the disk to write-protected state.
- -u Temporarily remove the disk's protection state before ejecting the disk.
- -w Set the disk to writable state.
- -x Set the password for the disk.
