Linux mpartition Command
The Linux mpartition command is used to create or delete MS-DOS partitions.
mpartition is an mtools utility command that can create or delete disk partitions.
Syntax
mpartition [-acdfIprv][-b <磁区数>][-h <磁头数>][l <磁区数>][-s <磁区数>][-t <柱面数>][驱动器代号]
Parameters:
- -a Set the partition as a bootable partition.
- -b<sector count> When creating a partition, specify the sector number from which to start creating the partition.
- -c Create a partition.
- -d Set the partition as a non-bootable partition.
- -f Force modification of the partition regardless of error messages during checking.
- -h<head count> When creating a partition, specify the number of heads for the partition.
- -I Delete all partitions.
- -l<sector count> When creating a partition, specify the partition size in sectors.
- -p Display the command line when recreating a partition.
- -r Delete a partition.
- -s<sector count> When creating a partition, specify the number of sectors per track.
- -t<cylinder count> When creating a partition, specify the number of cylinders for the partition.
- -v Used together with the -p parameter. If no partition modification command is given at the same time, it displays the current partition status.
