The Linux mkinitrd command is used to create an image file to be loaded into ramdisk.

mkinitrd can create image files to be loaded into ramdisk when Linux boots.

Syntax

mkinitrd [-fv][--omit-scsi-modules][--version][--preload=<模块名称>][--with=<模块名称>][映像文件][Kernel 版本]

Parameters:

  • -f If the specified image file name conflicts with an existing file, overwrite the existing file.
  • -v Display detailed information when executing.
  • --omit-scsi-modules Do not load SCSI modules.
  • --preload=<module name> Specify the module to be loaded.
  • --with=<module name> Specify the module to be loaded.
  • --version Display version information.
