The Linux mingetty command is a stripped-down version of getty.

mingetty is suitable for local login programs.

Syntax

mingetty [--long-hostname][--noclear][tty]

Parameter Description：

  • --long-hostname Display the full host name.
  • --noclear Do not clear the screen before asking for the login username.
