The Linux httpd command is the Apache HTTP server program.

httpd is the Apache HTTP server program. Executing the program directly can start the server service.

Syntax

httpd [-hlLStvVX][-c<httpd指令>][-C<httpd指令>][-d<服务器根目录>][-D<设定文件参数>][-f<设定文件>]

Parameter Description：

• -c<httpd directive> Execute the directive in the options before reading the configuration file.
• -C<httpd directive> Execute the directive in the options after reading the configuration file.
• -d<server root directory> Specify the server's root directory.
• -D<configuration file parameter> Specify the parameter to pass to the configuration file.
• -f<configuration file> Specify the configuration file.
• -h Display help.
• -l Display the modules included when the server was compiled.
• -L Display the description of httpd directives.
• -S Display the settings in the configuration file.
• -t Test whether the syntax of the configuration file is correct.
• -v Display version information.
• -V Display version information and build environment.
• -X Start the server as a single process.

Examples

Check the configuration file for syntax errors

# httpd -t
httpd: Could not determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName

Start httpd

httpd

Display compiled modules

# httpd -l

Display configuration file

# httpd -L>1.log|tail -n 20 1.log
