Linux grpunconv Command
The Linux grpunconv command is used to disable group shadow passwords.
Running the grpunconv command disables group shadow passwords; it stores the passwords back from the gshadow file to the group file.
Syntax
grpunconv
Examples
When not disabled
cat /etc/gshadow | grep cdy cdy:123456::
Disable shadow passwords
cat /etc/gshadow cat: /etc/gshadow: 没有那个文件或目录
Verify that the passwords have been copied to /etc/group.
cat /etc/group | grep cdy cdy:123456:1000:Other Extensions
