Linux getty command
The Linux getty command is used to set terminal mode, line speed, and line control.
The getty command is one of the three steps required during the boot process of UNIX-like operating systems.
Syntax
getty [-h][-d<组态配置文件>][-r<延迟秒数>][-t<超时秒数>][-w<等待字符串>][终端机编号][连线速率<终端机类型><管制线路>] 或 getty [-c<定义配置文件>]
Parameters:
- -c<definition configuration file> Specify the definition configuration file, default is /etc/gettydefs.
- -d<configuration file> Specify the configuration file, default is /etc/conf.getty.
- -h Force a hangup when the transmission rate is 0.
- -r<delay seconds> Set the delay time.
- -t<timeout seconds> Set the waiting time for login.
- -w<wait string> Set the string to wait for a response.
