The Linux ftpcount command is used to display the number of users currently logged in via FTP.

Throughftpcount, system administrators can quickly see how many users are currently using the FTP service, and which FTP server instances these users are connected to.

ftpcount is usually used withwu-ftpdorproftpdand other FTP server software.

Syntax

ftpcount [选项]

Parameter description:

  • -f<configuration file> : Specifies the path of the configuration file.
  • -hor--help: Displays help information and exits.
  • -vor--version: Displays version information and exits.

Examples

ftpcount can directly query the number of users on the FTP server. You can use the following command directly:

ftpcount              #查询当前FTP用户的人数

After executing this command,ftpcountit will output information similar to the following:

Service class local - 2 users (no maximum)
Service class remote - 1 users (no maximum)

In this example,ftpcountthe user connection status of two service categories is displayed:

  • localCategory: 2 user connections.
  • remoteCategory: 1 user connection.
