The Linux edquota command is used to edit disk quotas for users or groups.

edquota uses vi by default to edit the disk quota settings for users or groups.

Syntax

edquota [-p <源用户名称>][-ug][用户或群组名称...]

or

edquota [-ug] -t

Parameters：

  • -u Set the user's disk quota. This is the default parameter.
  • -g Set the group's disk quota.
  • -p<source user name> Apply the source user's disk quota settings to other users or groups.
  • -t Set the grace period.
