Linux dirs Command

The Linux dirs command is used to display directory records.

Display records in the directory stack.

Syntax

dirs [+/-n -l]

Parameters：

  • +n Display the nth directory counting from the left.
  • -n Display the nth directory counting from the right.
  • -l Display the complete directory record.

Examples

To list detailed information of all contents in "/home/cc/Ruijie", use the following command.

dir -l /home/cc/Ruijie

The following is the displayed content:

$ dir -l /home/cc/Ruijie
