Definition and Usage
HTML5 does not support the <frame> tag.
The name attribute specifies the name of the <frame> element.
The name attribute is used to reference an element in JavaScript, or as a target for links.
Differences Between HTML and XHTML
In XHTML, the name attribute of the <frame> tag is deprecated and will be removed. Please use the id attribute instead.
