Browser Support
Currently only Chrome and Safari 6 support the open attribute.
Definition and Usage
The open attribute is a boolean attribute.
When this attribute is used, it specifies that the dialog element is active and can interact with the user.
Differences between HTML 4.01 and HTML5
The <dialog> tag is new in HTML5.
Differences between HTML and XHTML
In XHTML, attribute minimization is not allowed, and the open attribute must be defined as: <dialog open="open">.
