imagecolortransparent - Defines a color as transparent.

Syntax

int imagecolortransparent ( resource $image [, int $color ] )

imagecolortransparent() sets the transparent color in the image to color. image isimagecreatetruecolor()the image identifier returned, and color isimagecolorallocate()the color identifier returned.

Note:Transparent color is an attribute of the image; transparency is not an attribute of the color. Once a color is set as transparent, any area of the image previously drawn in that color becomes transparent.

Returns the identifier of the new transparent color, or the identifier of the current transparent color if color is omitted.

Note:Transparency can only beimagecopymerge()and truecolor image copy; it cannot be used withimagecopy()or palette images.
