SQLite DISTINCT Keyword

SQLite'sDISTINCTkeyword is used in conjunction with the SELECT statement to eliminate all duplicate records and fetch only unique records.

There may be a situation where a table has multiple duplicate records. When extracting such records, the DISTINCT keyword becomes particularly meaningful, as it fetches only unique records instead of duplicate ones.

Syntax

The basic syntax of the DISTINCT keyword for eliminating duplicate records is as follows:

SELECT DISTINCT column1, column2,.....columnN 
FROM table_name
WHERE [condition]

Assume the COMPANY table has the following records:
