Definition and Usage
The backfaceVisibility property defines whether an element is visible when it is not facing the screen.
This property is useful when you rotate an element and do not want to see its backface.
Browser Support
Currently, only Internet Explorer 10+ and Firefox support the backfaceVisibility property.
Opera 15+, Chrome, and Safari support an alternative property, the WebkitBackfaceVisibility property.
Syntax
Return the backfaceVisibility property:
object.style.backfaceVisibility
Set the backfaceVisibility property:
object.style.backfaceVisibility="visible|hidden|initial|inherit"
Property Values

| visible | Default value. The backface is visible. |
| hidden | The backface is not visible. |
