Console Object

The Console object provides access to the browser's debug mode information in the console.

Method Description
assert() If the assertion is false, output an error message to the console.
clear() Clear the messages on the console.
count() Records the number of count() calls, generally used for counting.
error() Output error message to console
group() Create a message group in the console. A complete message group starts with console.group() and ends with console.groupEnd().
groupCollapsed() Create a message group in the console. Similar to console.group(), but it is collapsed by default.
groupEnd() End the current message group.
info() Output a message to the console
log() Output a message to the console
table() Display data in table form
time() Timer, starts timing, used with timeEnd() to calculate the exact time spent on an operation.
timeEnd() End timing
trace() Display the call path of the currently executing code in the stack.
warn() Output a warning message, with a yellow triangle at the front of the message to indicate a warning.
