The deferred.notify() function is used to provide a parameter and invoke the callback functions (progressCallbacks) running on the deferred object.
Note:1. Usually, only the creator of the deferred object (Deferred) can call this method.
2. You can return a restricted Promise object by calling deferred.promise() to prevent other code from changing the state of the deferred object or reporting its status.
3. When deferred.notify is accessed, any progressCallbacks can be added via deferred.then or deferred.progress. The callbacks are executed in the order they were added.
