Definition and Usage
The insertAfter() method inserts HTML elements after the selected elements.
Tip:To insert HTML elements before the selected elements, use theinsertBefore()method.
Syntax
$(content).insertAfter(selector)
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| content | Required. Specifies the content to insert (must contain HTML tags). Note:Ifcontentis an existing element, it will be removed from its current position and inserted after the selected elements. |
| selector | Required. Specifies where to insert the content. |
