XSL-FO Reference Manual
Definition and Usage
The <fo:repeatable-page-master-alternatives> object specifies a set of copies of simple-page-master.
The children of this object are fo:conditional-page-master-references (referred to as "schemes").
Which scheme is used depends on the evaluation of the conditions (these conditions allow different page-masters to be used for the first page, odd/even pages, and blank pages).
The conditions are tested in order, and the final scheme will reference the page-master used for all pages that do not include the specified layout.
