Beijing time, morning of September 1: On Sunday evening, many celebrity photos, including alleged nude photos of American actress Jennifer Lawrence, began circulating on U.S. websites and Twitter.

Earlier on Tuesday, a user on the U.S. discussion board 4Chan posted these photos, claiming they had been leaked after hackers attacked multiple iCloud accounts. The celebrities with nude photos include Victoria Justice, Emily Browning, Kate Bosworth, Jenny McCarthy, and Kate Upton.

U.S. tech blog Mashable contacted Lawrence's spokesperson and received the following response: "This is a blatant violation of privacy. We have contacted the relevant authorities and will prosecute anyone who publishes the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."

In addition to Lawrence, other celebrity victims mentioned in the 4Chan post include Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, and Scarlet Johansson, among others.

Most celebrities have not yet commented on the incident. However, American actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead said on Twitter: "To those who view private photos of me and my husband taken at home a few years ago, I hope you feel great." In another message, she said: "I deleted these photos a long time ago. I can imagine how much effort the hackers put in to obtain these photos. I share the same feelings as others who have been hacked."

However, Victoria Justice said on Twitter that the nude photos of her are fake. She said: "These so-called nude photos of me are fake. Let me nip these photos in the bud."

On the other hand, Lawrence and Winstead's statements confirmed the authenticity of these photos. Apple has not yet made a public response to the news. (Weijin)
