If you say you are a programmer during a blind date, the other person—usually a woman—will give you a strange look. The image of programmers in other people's eyes is generally that they have logical thinking problems, or are dull, or somewhat stubborn, or are nerds. But everything changes, and programmers are changing too. The English word "Programmer" is now popularly written as "Brogrammer" abroad. The difference between Brogrammer and Programmer is that the former is fashionable and cool. Brogrammers have many typical characteristics, such as wearing sunglasses while programming, listening to rock music, liking parties, liking beer, and so on.
Generally speaking, drinking alcohol is a big taboo for programmers, because programming requires using the brain and clear logic. But as mentioned before, everything evolves. On the one hand, programming environments and programming tools are becoming more developed and complete, lowering the requirements for programmers. On the other hand, some people become more excited and their minds become more active after drinking. The following pictures depict how a beer-loving programmer learns data structures. You can see that he drank his beer and also mastered data structures.
