According to the 2014 China-US IT Internet rich list released by Forbes, 34 IT billionaires from China made the list, with a total wealth of 672.3 billion yuan; 46 IT billionaires from the US made the list, with a total wealth 4.6 times that of China. Compared with the US, China's strengths lie in e-commerce, gaming, and consumer- and entertainment-related fields, while social networking is catching up.
