In Android applications, sometimes you need to know whether system notifications are enabled in order to proceed with the next step. Therefore, obtaining this status is very necessary. Previously, I struggled to find a suitable solution because it involves the system, which is not easy to handle. Today I saw an expert's tip, tried it, and it works very well. Pictures speak for themselves. First, go to Settings and turn off the notification switch for this app:

Then, in the app, click the button to get the status:

At this point, go back to Settings and turn on the notification switch:

Click the test button in the app again, and you can see that notifications are now available:

The code is very small but concise. It's just a utility class that uses the Java reflection principle:
