Highcharts Stacked Area Chart
The following example demonstrates a stacked area chart.
In the previous chapters, we have learned the basic configuration syntax of Highcharts. Next, let's look at other configurations. Add the stacking property in plotOptions:
Configuration
plotOptions: Data Point Options
plotOptions is used to configure properties related to data points in a chart. The property settings for plotOptions vary slightly depending on the chart type.
Set the chart stacking option plotOptions.area.stacking to "normal". Use null to disable stacking. If the value is "percent", stacking is calculated by percentage.
var plotOptions = {
area: {
stacking: 'normal',
lineColor: '#666666',
lineWidth: 1,
marker: {
lineWidth: 1,
lineColor: '#666666'
}
}
};
