Definition and Usage
The deleteData() method deletes data from a comment node.
Syntax
commentNode.deleteData(start,length)
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| start | Required. Specifies where to start deleting data. The start value begins at 0. |
| length | Required. Specifies how many characters to delete. |

The following code snippet usesloadXMLDoc()put "books_comment.xmlLoad into xmlDoc, and delete some characters from the first comment node:
